These two shots show what the inside of the system looked like before we touched it — a heavy dust layer coating the supply walls, including concentric rings that build up around branch take-offs over years of operation. Project 3: Hair Salon in Downtown Vancouver — Ventilation Grilles
A busy hair salon in downtown Vancouver had persistent dust on styling stations and a musty smell that regular cleaning could not fix. Hair fibers, chemical residue from dyes and treatments, and aerosol spray had been pulled into the return vents and coated the inside of the ductwork for years. The ventilation grilles were the most visible sign of the problem.

- Section-by-section agitation — Rotary brushes and compressed-air whips are fed through each branch run and main trunk, breaking up compacted material while the vacuum pulls it out.
- Grille and register cleaning — Every vent cover is removed, cleaned, and reinstalled to restore full airflow.
- Air handler inspection — The blower wheel, coil housing, and cabinet interior are checked and cleaned as needed.
